To assist in the development of these essential life skills, Aquastream has taken these special considerations into the design and implementation of our five-level Fun Kids Program. The program starts with an introduction to various strokes as well as safety and survival skills, gradually increasing the distance of unassisted swims and stroke efficiency. By the fifth and final level, swimmers are ready to swim as much as 50 meters, tread water, and stride dive. Our certified Lifesaving Society instructors track the progress of each child across 3 major indicators before determining whether they’re ready to graduate to the next level of their program. At the end of each session, children receive a progress report that marks their achievements – and gives them a reason to be proud of their accomplishments.
Taking into consideration the age, ability, and progress of each swimmer, this program has flexible entry and exit options at various levels. Aquastream keeps our programs small, and it’s this 3:1 student to teacher ratio that allows for a more individual coaching approach and for trainers to closely monitor both safety and progress in the pool. Fun Kids classes are held on a weekly basis for 45-minutes each and, of course, take place in our salt water pool facility developed and maintained with the latest and greatest technology.
Kids don’t just learn to swim and how to stay safe in the Fun Kids Program, they learn valuable life skills that translate outside of the pool facility. Your child deserves the best chance at developing healthy social skills and self-confidence, and they can do all of that and more with Aquastream.
